If you’re a Blueprint dabbler who wants to open UE5 on a friend’s gaming laptop to show off a mechanic, it’s fantastic. If you’re a solo indie developer working from a single desktop, just install it normally — the portable version’s limitations will cost you more time than the USB flexibility saves.
