This is gritty, cinematic, and surprisingly brutal. Directed by Martin Bourboulon, this film takes us back to 17th-century France. If you are tired of CGI-heavy superhero movies where punches don’t land, this film is a detox. The sword fights are raw. You hear the metal clang, you see the mud splash, and you wince when a character takes a hit. The Hindi dub amplifies the sound design—every "थप" (thwack) of the sword sounds satisfying.
