I watched Fullmetal Alchemist (2017) on , and while I’ll comment on the movie itself, the viewing experience was rough.

As a fan of the anime, this live-action adaptation is… okay. It tries to condense too much story into 2 hours, so character development suffers. Edward and Alphonse look decent visually, and the CGI for Al is impressive for a Japanese budget. However, the pacing is rushed, and some emotional beats fall flat. If you’ve never seen FMA, you’ll be confused. If you have, you’ll be mildly entertained but disappointed.

Here’s a review template for Fullmetal Alchemist (2017) as if watched via (keeping in mind that site’s typical low-quality rips, watermarks, and possible dubbing/subtitle issues). ★★☆☆☆ (2/5 stars) – "Good movie, terrible print quality." Review:
