One day, Rizki approached his ustadz (teacher), Ustadz Ahmad, with his concerns and questions. Ustadz Ahmad, sensing Rizki's genuine curiosity and concern, decided to share a story.
"Rizki, I want to tell you a story about a young man who lived a long time ago," Ustadz Ahmad began. "He was known for his piety and dedication to his faith. Rizki felt a sense of relief and gratitude toward Ustadz Ahmad for sharing this story. He realized that he, too, had the power to make choices that would impact his life and the lives of those around him.
Ustadz Ahmad smiled and said, "Rizki, the story I shared with you is a reminder that our actions have consequences. As a santri, you are not only learning about academics but also about the importance of character, empathy, and cultural values. Remember that you have the power to choose how you respond to challenges and temptations. Stay true to your values, and always strive to be a positive force in your community."
Ustadz Ahmad continued, "The young man sought guidance from his teacher, who advised him to reflect on his actions and consider the consequences. He was encouraged to think about the values and principles that were important to him and to make decisions that aligned with those values."
