Blue - Lock- Episode Nagi Episode 1

One of the defenders blinks. “How did he... he barely moved.”

Silence.

His phone buzzes. A message from his only friend, Mikage Reo. Blue Lock- Episode Nagi Episode 1

Before Nagi can reply, a helicopter roars overhead. Low. Too low for a school zone. A black chopper with a blue streak down its side lands on the main pitch, shredding the grass with its downdraft.

Reo’s eyes go wide. Blue Lock. The name has been whispered in football circles for weeks. A secret facility. A radical program to create the world’s greatest egotistical striker. Three hundred of Japan’s best U-18 forwards, locked in a prison of competition. One winner. Three hundred losers who will never play for Japan again. One of the defenders blinks

The helicopter lands in a concrete wasteland. A massive, windowless bunker looms ahead. A single door slides open, revealing a white corridor that stretches into infinity.

Not a dramatic, frustrated sigh of a competitor who just lost a final match. Just... a sigh. The sound of a cloud passing over the sun, or a phone battery draining to 1%. That sigh belongs to Nagi Seishiro, a high school student slumped in a desk by the window, watching raindrops race down the glass. His phone buzzes

A man in a black suit steps out, holding a tablet. He’s not a teacher. He’s not a scout. He’s a messenger.

“All I have to do is touch the ball and put it in the net. That’s not hard. That’s just... moving something from A to B.”

Reo glances back at Nagi. “Scared?”

Nagi. After school. The field. Don't run away this time.
